Gumroad is one of the simplest ways to start making money selling digital products — ebooks, courses, templates, presets, software, memberships and more — with no monthly fee and no website required. You create a product, share a link, and Gumroad handles checkout, file delivery and payouts; because it only charges when you sell, it's almost risk-free to start. Fees are a flat 10% + $0.50 per transaction on direct sales (card processing of ~2.9% + $0.30 applies on top, so closer to ~12.9% + $0.80 effective), rising to 30% if a buyer finds you through Gumroad's Discover marketplace. Since 2025 Gumroad acts as Merchant of Record, handling global VAT/sales tax for you. Payouts run weekly (Fridays) via bank deposit (free), PayPal (2%) or instant payout (3%, US).
